The 19th New Mexico Open scheduled for Aug. 18-20 at Tenpins & More in Rio Rancho will offer a record prize fund of $70,450, tournament operator Steve Mackie announced Sunday.
First prize will be $13,000 based on 192 entries, up from $12,000 last year, with a 1-in-4 cashing ratio. There also are $400 prizes to out-of-cash high super senior (over 60), senior (50-59) and female players.
