Seeking second title of year, Verity Crawley leads PWBA Great Lakes Classic with round to go before stepladder finals

Verity Crawley, who already has one title this year, took the lead after Monday’s first two rounds of match play at the 2023 PWBA Great Lakes Classic at Spectrum Lanes in Wyoming, Michigan.
Crawley went 11-4-1 and averaged 220.81 on Monday to finish 14 pins ahead of Diana Zavjalova’s 12-4 and 3,864.
The Great Lakes Classic field is the top 24 based on the 24 games of qualifying in the Grand Rapids Classic and BowlTV Classic. Qualifying pins do not carry over. Those 24 bowl three...
