Chris Barnes nearly catches Troy Lint for lead after first day of match play at 2023 PBA Senior U.S. Open

Chris Barnes ended qualifying at the 2023 PBA Senior U.S. Open on Saturday in sixth place, 187 pins behind leader Troy Lint. In Sunday’s 12 games of match play, Barnes went 8-3-1 and knocked down 2,896 pins, a 241.33 average, on the Mike Aulby 39 lane pattern to close the gap on Lint to 36 pins heading into Monday’s final 12 games of match play.
