Anthony Simonsen stayed on top as stars filled the top five after Thursday’s first round of match play at the 2024 U.S. Open presented by Go Bowling! at Royal Pin Woodland in Indianapolis. Simonsen had a 147-pin lead after the 24 games of qualifying, then extended it to 268 pins after Thursday’s 8-game cashers round.
