E.J. Tackett averaged 251.67 on Tuesday to take a commanding lead heading to the final qualifying round of the 2024 PBA Illinois Classic at Bowlero Mount Prospect in Mount Prospect, Illinois, according to results posted here.
Coming off a grueling U.S. Open in which he finished fourth on Sunday, the reigning and 2-time PBA Player of the Year fired games of 212, 244, 246, 247, 268, 235, 246, 245, 300, 268, 279 and 230 for a 12-game total of 3,020 on the Don Carter 39 lane pattern.
