Newly minted PBA Hall of Famer Tom Hess kept bowling like on Tuesday, as he widened his lead to 221 pins at the 2024 PBA50 Granville Financial Open at Sandhills Bowling Center in Aberdeen, N.C., according to results posted here. Hess took a 138-pin lead with 1,736 in Monday’s first round and added 1,540 in the second round, giving him a 3,276 total, a 234 average on the Billy Hardwick 44 lane pattern and a 221-pin lead over Brad Angelo.
