Singapore’s New Hui Fen averaged 252.4 to soar to a 96-pin lead after Thursday’s first round of the 2024 USBC Queens at Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in that Green Bay suburb, according to results posted here. The right-hander fired games of 227, 245, 246, 266 and 278 for a 5-game total of 1,262 on a pattern that saw just 78 of 184 players average 200 or better.
