The 2025-26 Madison Area Scratch Tour schedule features eight singles, three doubles, and a trios tournament during the regular seasons, and a new format for the Year End Championship, MAST announced in this post.
The schedule, which is attached to this story as a PDF, includes details that are available — lane patterns that aren’t determined yet will be announced in advance of the tournaments.
MAST said the reduction in doubles tournament was based on bowler feedback.
A new format will be a combined singles and doubles at Schwoegler’s on Saturday, Nov. 15. Details will be released later.
The Sport Bowl Doubles on Saturday, Feb. 28 will be MAST’s 500th tournament.
The 40-player Year End Championship will be a 1-day tournament on Saturday, April 11, with format changes based on a survey of bowlers. (The Year End has been a 2-day tournament since the beginning of MAST, I believe.)
There will be six games of qualifying, with no break. The top 12 will advance to match play, with the top four earning a bye. The matches will be two games determined on total pins.
MAST's Chris Jackson said MAST is trying to get sponsors for each tournament and a couple for the season.
11thFrame.com again will sponsor the Trios at Ten Pin Alley on Saturday, March 7. That likely will be the only MAST I bowl this season as I continue to extend my semi-retirement to nearly full retirement.
