If they didn’t already know it, anyone involved in tourism in Reno learned not to take bowlers for granted during the 2023 USBC Open Championships. The last Open Championships in Reno in 2023 was notable for the vociferous complaints about the high cost of Reno that resulted in some measures in response, as I covered in this story on our teams competing in Reno that year.
