MAST is MALT again in 2025-26 as Mike Hoffman continues season’s lefty dominance with third title of year in Watertown MAST

Long ago when left-handers were on a strong run in the Madison Area Scratch Tour, the term “MALT” — Madison Area Lefties Tour — was coined for MAST. (I can’t remember who came up with it or I would give them credit.)
The 2025-26 MAST season could be called the 2025-26 MALT season — at least in singles —as after right-hander Jon Schalow won the season opener Sept. 7 at Prairie Lanes, left-handers have won all seven singles tournaments.
