Entries aren’t open yet for the 2026 Greater Iowa Bowling Association 11thFrame.com Open Aug. 14-16 at Cherry Lanes inside the Diamond Jo Casino in Dubuque, Iowa.

But the special room block at the downtown Holiday Inn that is a short walk from the Diamond Jo is available.

Cherry Lanes Manager Bob Hochrein said Wednesday that 30 rooms are available both Friday and Saturday night of that weekend at $149 per night. Call 563-556-2000 and reference “11thFrame.com Open 26.”

The room block is open through July 15, but there are some other big events going on in the Dubuque area that weekend so people should book early, Hochrein said.

The weekend again will feature a Friday sweeper, and the tournament Saturday and Sunday will feature a maximum field of 156 entries that annually sells out within a few days of entries opening.

GIBA administrator Joe Engelkes will announce when entries open and I will report it as well. Typically that happens in late June.
