E.J. Tackett was the top seed at three majors on the 2026 PBA Tour: the Players Championship, USBC Masters, and World Championship.
In the Players Championship, Tackett never missed the pocket in a clean 238, but lost to a perfect game by rookie Brandon Bonta.
In the Masters, Tackett needed a double and a pin in the 10th to win, and rolled a flush strike before leaving a stubborn 10-pin to lose 196-195 to Boog Krol.
