Iowa woman reaches 50 years at national tournament

Jeanne Wilkens of Davenport, Iowa, this week reached a milestone few bowlers have achieved: 50 years of competition in the national tournament. Wilkens made her first appearance in the Women's International Bowling Congress tournament in 1960 in Denver and has been to every tournament since except the 2005 event in Tulsa, Okla., which she missed because her husband had fallen ill, the United States Bowling Congress reported....
