Bowlers Edge Pro Shop of Neenah survived yet another strong
challenge Friday night, but again emerged with its team event lead
intact at the United States Bowling Congress Open Championships in
Reno, Nev.
Bowlers Universe 2 of Palatine, Ill., started out on fire with
games of 1,153 and 1,148 but slipped to a 1,080 in game three for
3,381 -- good for fifth place and 27 pins shy of the 3,408 of
Bowlers Edge.
