Rick Thomas fired 690 in doubles and 707 in singles at Prairie Lanes on Sunday to take the City Tournament all-events title with 2,243. Thomas had shot an all-time City Tournament record 846 in team the prior weekend. The other leaders heading into last weekend held on to take titles: Who Asked Mike with 3,520 in team,  Jacob Thomas (Rick's son) and Joey Kick with their record 1,553 in doubles, and Mike Pounders with 796 in singles.
