Castillo leads qualifying on typical mega-scoring Cheetah pattern

The PBA Cheetah pattern has often been described as a high risk/high reward pattern. On Saturday at the Cheetah Open in Fountain Valley, Calif., there appared to be a ton of reward and little risk. In a 143-player field, it took an average of 241.6 for nine games (Sweden's Martin Larsen at 2,175) to make the top 24 for match play Sunday. Last cash spot (47th) was Dave Wodka at 2,092, a 232.4 average....
