The Nicholas J's Pro Shop teams celebrated moving into the top two spots in team event at the United States Bowling Congress Open Championships on Monday with a day of play on Tuesday before bowling minor events Tuesday night.
A day after leading his team into the lead at the United States Bowling Congress Open Championships, Nick Heilman moved into second in all-events on Tuesday. The Nicholas J. Pro Shops teams faced a rare “double burn” squad at a special 8 p.m. time due to there being no 8:30 p.m. team squad on Tuesday, USBC spokesman Matt Cannizzaro said. They originally were scheduled to bowl minors at 11:30 p.m. after the 8:30 p.m. team but instead bowled after the 2:30 p.m. team and 5:30 p.m....
