Update: Erik Gialdella put out this statement on Friday: "Just to clear any confusion, Super Bowl will be donating the Hall of Fame Xtravaganza trip, worth $500, to the high qualifier. It will not come out of prize money from entry fees. All prize money from entry fees will be paid out as cash to bowlers making the finals. Sorry if there was any misunderstanding.
