Kenosha’s Lennie Boresch Jr. edged Pete Weber 228-227 in the title match to win the PBA Midwest/Central Region Lancer Lanes Senior Viper Open in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Sunday. Boresch earned $1,100 and Weber $800. In the semifinal, Boresch swept Mike Mineman 295-162 (yes, that’s not a misprint — he said he left the 3-4-6-7-10) and 239-232, while Weber downed Tony Majcher 209-233, 268-139 and 193-188.
