When I heard the Madison Bowling Association Senior Masters was going to be contested on the 2012 USBC Open Championships pattern on the old wood lanes at Viking Lanes in Stoughton, I knew it was going to be a grind.
Heck, last year's pattern on new synthetic lanes in Baton Rouge was a grind!
And that's exactly how it was for the 29 bowlers brave enough to turn out on Saturday.
The top four bowlers after six games of qualifying would make the stepladder finals and 10 would cash.
