Towne and Country Lanes 1 of Hartland missed the team lead by just 30 pins with 3,328 on Sunday at the United States Bowling Congress Open Championships. A strong minor events showing on Monday meant they didn’t come up short in team all-events, totaling 9,766 to turn the tables on Breakpoint Pro Shop 2 of Sartell, Minn., which beat them in team with 3,358 but is second in team all-events with 9,408.
