Ryan Anderson fell a pin shy of perfection with a 298 game in a 781 series to highlight Madison area bowling on Friday. Anderson competed in the Village Lanes Pinheads League. Tom Smyth was next with 763, followed by Don Grossen with 762 and Dick Paulson with 751, all in the Schwoegler's Tiger League. Terri Graffin led women's scoring with 688 in the Village Pinheads.
