Lane pattern for U.S. Opens will be flat after all

The U.S. Open will be THE U.S. Open after all, and the Women's U.S. Open will be the toughest test it's ever been. After considering a slightly softer lane pattern of about 1.5-1, as I detailed in this blog in December, BPAA on Tuesday released the lane pattern that will be used for the combined U.S. Opens in Columbus July 21-27 and it's flat.
