There are two big things missing from Pete Weber’s bowling resume: a Player of the Year crown and a United States Bowling Congress Masters title. He should have had at least one Player of the Year crown, but the voters robbed him of it. The Masters has been nothing but heartbreak for Weber, who twice earned the top seed before losing the title match: to Mike Lastowski in 1983 and to Mika Koivuniemi in 2000 by one pin.
