Heading into match play at the 2013 Lipton U.S. Open, the big question was how much Jason Belmonte would lead by. After Thursday’s first of three 8-game rounds of round-robin match play, the question was whether Belmonte would be able to hold his lead, as Pete Weber and Wes Malott significantly closed the gap.
