Amleto Monacelli chooses country over shot at PBA50 Player of the Year

Amleto Monacelli and Don Blatchford led PBA50 Senior/Super Senior Doubles Classic presented by Brunswick qualifying Monday at Spare Time Lanes in Decatur, Ill., and will be paired together in match play Tuesday, PBA reported.
With PBA50 Tour Player of the Year points based on qualifying scores, Monacelli earned 16 points, pulling him within two points of leader Walter Ray Williams Jr., who qualified fifth and earned no points.
