Hooray USBC: Major awards to be once a lifetime starting in 2014-15

The United States Bowling Congress on Thursday announced that starting Aug. 1, 2014 the major awards given to USBC members for a perfect game, 800 series or 900 series will become once-in-a-lifetime awards.
In addition, the 11-in-a-row award will be eliminated. However, all 300 games and 800 series at the USBC Open and Women's Championships will continue to be recognized.
