The inaugural Sean Yonan Memorial Scratch Open is set for March 23 at Lakeshore Lanes in Sheboygan, as an addition to an annual weekend of youth events at Lakeshore and Maple Lanes. The events honor Sean Yonan, who died from complications of a severe asthma attack on Feb. 14, 1995. More than $105,000 in scholarships have been given away in the past nine years.
