LAS VEGAS – Straighter was both greater and safer as Norm Duke defeated Pete Weber 214-174 in the title match to win the Suncoast PBA Senior U.S. Open on Friday. Lanes 47 and 48 at Suncoast were re-oiled for the stepladder finals of the Senior Open and Brian Voss made the nearly flat pattern look relatively easy in dispatching Amleto Monacelli 263-194 in the opening match that followed a 20-minute practice session for the four finalists.
