Harry Sullins averaged 240.12 to grab the lead after Saturday’s first round of qualifying of the PBA50 Grants Pass Open presented by Track at Caveman Bowl in Grants Pass, Oregon. Sullins, who has five titles on the PBA Tour and three titles on the PBA50 Tour, rolled games of 223, 201, 257, 279, 226, 232, 276 and 227 for a 1,921 total, a pin ahead of Hall of Famer Walter Ray Williams Jr. and two pins ahead of Terry Metzner.
