Update: The RSCVA board on Wednesday voted to table the proposed increase in the surcharge until its Dec. 4 meeting, according to this story from the Reno Gazette-Journal on how the issue of raising the surcharge has opened a riff between hotels in downtown Reno and those in outlying areas.  "It is obvious this is becoming a rift between properties," Ferenc Szony, CEO of Truckee Gaming which operates the Sands Regency Casino & Hotel downtown, said at the meeting, the paper reporte...
