Todd Handel fell just a shot shy of a perfect game to highlight Madison area bowling on Monday. Handel fired a 297 game in a 728 series in the Dream Lanes Suburban Merchants League. Dave Wittwer had the high series with a 745 in the Sport Bowl Merchants League. Jim Fosdick was next with a 739 in the MARBA League at Dream Lanes. No women’s scores of 600 or better were reported.
