South Korea’s emergence as a world bowling power took another step Saturday when Kyung Shin Park became that country’s first winner of the Japan Cup on Saturday. Park, a Storm staffer, defeated Japan’s Akio Ishihara 241-203 in the title match of the 28th Round1 Japan Cup, earning a bit more than $51,700, PBA reported in this news release.
