Tony Pena fell a shot shy of perfection to highlight Madison area bowling on Monday. Pena fired a 297 game in a 748 series in the Dream Lanes Suburban Merchants League. The high series on Tuesday was 791 by Richie Gobeli in the Prairie Lanes Major League. Next was Jim Fosdick with 761 in the Dream Suburban Merchants, followed by JoDon Thompson with 759 in the Spartan Bowl Major League. No women’s series of 600 or higher were reported.
