That didn’t take long. In his first PBA Tour event since signing with 900 Global, Chris Barnes fired a perfect game in the semifinal match of the stepladder finals and then edged Mike Fagan 206-196 to win the DHC PBA Japan Invitational, PBA reported. It was Barnes’ 18th career PBA Tour title and the perfect game, which was webcast on PBA Xtra Frame, was worth 5 million yen, or about $43,000 — the same as first prize.
