Jason Belmonte did something on Sunday that most knowledgeable observers would have said was impossible. Winning a “normal” PBA Tour event three times in a row is a difficult accomplishment, but it has been done, most notably by Earl Anthony on two occasions in the PBA National (now World) Championship and by Jason Couch in the PBA Tournament of Champions.
