Warne Copus fell a pin shy of perfection to highlight Madison area bowling on Monday. Copus’ 299 game came in a 729 series in the Dream Lanes Suburban Merchants League. The high series on Monday were Tim Taylor’s 790 in the Prairie Lanes Major League and Rachel Lawler’s 627 in the Black Earth Lanes Ladies League. Next were Ray Nelson’s 757 in the Prairie Major and Tina Zander’s 608 in the Black Earth Ladies. Source: scores reported to Wisconsin State Journal....
