It’s often said that turning 50 provides a new lease on life for a professional bowler (or golfer). Instead of being the aging guy overpowered by the youngsters, the 50-year-old is the youngster doing the overpowering — a rookie without all the negatives usually associated with being a rookie like inexperience and nerves.
