Lane pattern set for August 22-23 11thFrame.com Open; goal is multiple angles, no guttercap lofting necessary

The only thing that has disappointed me about the first two 11thFrame.com Opens is the way the lane patterns have played. In 2012, the pattern was so long and tight good right-handers were throwing shots in the right gutter while playing 20 and outside 10 had zero chance. Last year, it only took a few games and righties were lofting the guttercap — something I don’t believe ever needs to happen. (There was no tournament in 2013 due to scheduling issues.)
