Bill Cooley of Earl Anthony’s Dublin Bowl honored with 2015 Jim Jaryszak Laneman Award

Bill Cooley, the head mechanic and lane maintenance supervisor at Earl Anthony’s Dublin Bowl in Dublin, California, for the last 35 years, was honored with the 2015 Jim Jaryszak Laneman Award at Bowl Expo on Thursday, according to this news release. I can’t remember if I ever met Bill but I immediately felt wonderful reading about him winning the award as it brought back the great memory of Dublin Bowl being where in 1987 I made my first (of very few) top 24s in my short PBA Tour...
