Finland’s Osku Palermaa and Singapore’s Joey Yeo won the men’s and women’s singles titles and $81,000 top prizes in the inaugural Bowling World Open Sunday, PBA reported in this news release. But hopefully the biggest victory from the showcase event still is to come: bowling’s selection as a medal sport in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
