Liz Johnson in Friday’s fourth round fired the highest block of the Bowlmor AMF U.S. Women’s Open to jump into the lead heading into match play, according to scores posted by PWBA in this PDF.
The Storm staffer, who started Friday in third place, fired an 8-game block of 1,857 (232.12 average) on the nearly flat U.S. Women’s Open pattern to move past Shannon O’Keefe and Danielle McEwan, who were first and second heading into the fourth round.
