When Anthony Simonsen and Connor Pickford earned the top seed for the TV finals of the Mark Roth/Marshall Holman PBA Doubles Championship during the Fall Classic in October, Simonsen was denied a chance to break Norm Duke’s record for youngest PBA Tour champion only by PBA scheduling: the TV finals taping wasn’t until Dec. 19 at GEICO PBA World Series of Bowling VII.
