Note: This story is an updated version of this “spoiler alert” story I wrote after the TV show was taped.
Mark Roth was 26 and Marshall Holman 22 when they first teamed up for the PBA Doubles in 1977.
The Hall of Famers won in their debut and again in 1979 and 1984, joining fellow Hall of Famers Steve Cook and Mike Aulby as the only duos to win three times.
