Huge final game gives Anthony Pepe win in PBA Grand Casino, Hotel & Resort Winter Open Regional

Anthony Pepe entered the final game of the PBA Grand Casino, Hotel & Resort Winter Open Regional 71 pins behind leader E.J. Tackett.
With 30 bonus pins for winning each match, that meant Pepe need to beat Tackett by 41 to tie and 42 to win. In other words, if Tackett fired a 260 even a 300 would not be enough for Pepe.
But 278 was enough for Pepe to claim the title at Firelake Bowling Center on Sunday when Tackett managed just 178.
