Craig Auerbach’s opening round of the PBA50 Pasco County Florida Open couldn’t have gotten off to a much worse start. In a Facebook post, Auerbach said he was having an issue with his thumb hole at the start of practice Sunday at Lane Glo Bowl in New Port Richey, Florida. “It got real tacky and I couldn't clear it at all,” Auerbach said. “After completely changing the tape, wasting most of practice and three frames of the first game, I finally fixed the problem....
