Emily Peterson grabbed the all-events lead and Shawna Strause and Heidi Woods the doubles lead in the Diamond Division at the 2016 USBC Women’s Championships, the United States Bowling Congress reported.
USBC reported that after starting her team event Sunday with a conservative ball selection that resulted in 15 nine-counts in a 594, Peterson made the change to a more aggressive ball for minors and slammed 698 in doubles and 677 in singles for 1,969 all-events.
