A strong finish carried Rocio Restrepo to the qualifying lead of the PWBA Greater Detroit Open on Friday and that scenario repeated itself on Saturday as Restrepo earned the top seed for the stepladder finals. Restrepo lost the lead for a time on Saturday, falling behind Stefanie Johnson by 24 pins after the cashers round, but the powerful right-hander closed with games of 235, 279 and 234 to take the lead back as match play ended.
