Anthony Simonsen, the 19-year-old 2-hander who is a leading contender for PBA Player of the Year, earlier this month led qualifying Downums Waste Services PBA Jonesboro Open in Jonesboro, Arkansas, but went 1-7 in match play on Sunday to fall to 14th.
