Bobby Bures will never forget the solid 8-pin in his final frame that cost him possibly a second Eagle at the 2016 United States Bowling Congress Open Championships at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno. Since Bures bowled on March 15, it was hard to gauge the Eagle-winning chances of his 815 in singles and 2,122 all-events. With lane patterns very similar to the 2015 Open Championships, the 815 was 22 pins higher and the 2,122 was 104 pins lower than last year’s Eagle winning...
